Driven multi-discipline engineer with 16 years of experience and a professional engineering license (PE), managing and executing engineering projects on a global scale for a wide-range of industries and organizations.  

My training and experience is in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, computer science, signal systems, and telecommunications.  In addition to my engineering credentials, I earned an MBA and have a proven ability to manage a diverse team of technical experts in fast paced and high stress conditions.

Currently, I am the Standards Engineer for CSX Transportation out of Jacksonville, FL.

I hold the role of subcommittee chairman for the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA), and participate as a technical advisor for several independent research initiatives in the North American rail industry.  I am a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and I'm currently working towards becoming a certified quality engineer (CQE) and a certified reliability engineer (CRE).

I am motivated by a passion for learning and a deep enjoyment of working through difficult problems, especially with a team that has a diverse set of perspectives and understandings that can be shared.  

I believe that when a team comes together in a pursuit of a clearly defined goal there is a synergy that allows the group to exceed the combined capabilities of the individual members.
